A web futurist, Karma Martell has been pioneering the digital marketing space since 1995. In the “wild west” days of the emerging Internet, Martell was turned down by name brands and Fortune 500 corporations with grand budgets and narrow vision. They told her they would “never sell anything online” or have a web presence. Martell forged ahead, undeterred. After launching several groundbreaking digital marketing PR campaigns, she formed KarmaCom in 1997 to provide a holistic approach to marketing in the digital age.
KarmaCom’s first project for a private investor was the conception and launch of the largest and most comprehensive interactive regional tourism portal of the time. It served over one million visitors within three months of its launch.
Combining data-driven intelligence with creative, “good karma marketing” solutions, Martell and her collaborative team have helped launch and grow consumer and business-to-business brands, products and services across business verticals. With our marketing help, our clients have fulfilled milestones such as selling their start-up to Fortune 500’s, receiving venture capital in the tens of millions, dominating a market, and fulfilling personal financial and career goals.
Ms. Martell’s thought leadership on 21st century marketing strategy, branding and award-winning PR strategy have been featured in the Ecommerce Times, Huffington Post, The NY Times, Ragan’s PR Daily, The Takeaway, TechNewsWorld, The Wall Street Journal, Women’s Wear Daily and other major media. Clients served include American Dairy Association, Ashbell’s, Chadwicks of Boston, chef Charlie Palmer, Community Voice Mail, Ford Motors, International Wealth Tax Advisors, James Hemings Society, KB Patio, Maxsold, Miracle-Gro, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Pinault Printemps Redoute, Rubenstein Technology, Universal Music, Vermont Tourism and many others.
Pulling together her experience in launching and growing digital and terrestrial brands for over 25 years, Martell is in the process of creating an interactive online program and a book on her bespoke method of Brand development and strategy.
